Is anyone battling with a newborn baby who cries her lungs out? I was gifted the Hatch Rest+ 2nd Gen, and it's been a great help.

Babies seem like they're crying for no reason. They can be fussy sometimes, but they actually do really well once you establish a predictable routine.

Hatch Rest+ is a white noise and sound machine, and it was created to help parents manage their babies' sleep schedules.

It functions as a nightlight and a sound machine with a wide selection of sounds like white noise, wind, rain, and lullabies, so your little one is more comfortable and easily adjusts to the sleep schedule.

You can reap the maximum benefits Hatch Rest+ has to offer by utilizing the Hatch Sleep app. You can also access the library of various sounds, music, and stories to make the bedtime routine easier. These Snuggle Time Stories are 10 minutes long, and you can repeat them as many times as you want until your baby winds down and gets ready for bed.

I particularly love the Spanish lullabies!

Currently, there are 2 types of Rest sound machines available - the Rest 2nd Gen and the Rest+ 2nd Gen. The only difference between the two is that the Rest+ comes with an extra backup battery.

I think the extra battery is worth the extra $20 - having a backup of anything is so helpful, trust me.

I keep this battery on a nightstand and always keep it plugged in, so it's ready to use.

I love how the Rest+ grows with the child - you can use it to turn on white noises when your baby's young, and as he gets older, you can turn on other sleep aids like bedtime stories or lullabies.

The extra battery gives you up to 8 hours of charge, so you'll be prepared even in outages.

You can change the ambient lighting on the app, as well.

My mom always comments on how easy it has gotten to raise a kid with all these new aids, haha.

You can turn it on/off and switch between modes by pressing the top circle on the Rest+.

The control buttons are located at the back of the machine.

This will make a great baby shower gift for any parents who are planning on sleep-training their babies.
