These are my top 3 olive oils, and I make sure to keep my condiment cabinet stocked with them.

Madhava's Organic EVOO is great for cooking. It has a mild and clean flavor, so it doesn't clash with the dish I'm cooking. I use more fragrant EVOO as salad dressing and dinner bread so that I can enjoy the rich aroma. They also tend to be on the more expensive end, so Madhava's Organic EVOO is a great cooking oil.

Pardon the dented container - I ordered it online, and it arrived like this.

Madhava's oil is also clean - this 100% pure, single-sourced oil doesn't contain lead or arsenic.

Madhava's EVOO can has a safety cap, and I thought I'd share the opening instructions as it took me a while to figure out how to open it when I first bought it.

I recommend making tomato spaghetti with this oil - it doesn't have any aftertaste but brings out the tomato flavor.

Next, Yiayia and Friends' Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

I discovered Yiayia and Friends several years ago. Drawn to its cute packaging and stellar reviews, I was frantically searching for a retailer that ships to the US. It wasn't available back then, sigh. It might've been because of Covid, but Yiayia and Friends began shipping to the US! I finally got to try it, fell in love, and have been ordering it since.

The original EVOO is available in 2 sizes (500ml and 1000ml) and 2 types of packaging (glass jar and can).

Yiayia and Friends also has flavored olive oils. These specialty olive oils are infused with garlic, spicy chili, or basil to add depth to your dish.

Yiayia and Friends also has balsamic vinegar. I got the original Organic Balsamic Vinegar that was aged for more than 10 years in optimal conditions.

If you prefer something more complex and spicy-sour flavor, Yiayia and Friends recommends its balsamic vinegar with plum, cranberry, strawberry, and pomegranate. It is one on the left. Or if you like vinegar that has a zesty and zingy citrus kick, Yiayia and Friends recommends its balsamic vinegar with orange, mandarin, lemon, and grapefruit. It's the yellow bottle on the right shown above.

All of its balsamic vinegar is aged for years in wooden barrels and blended with all-natural fruit juices for a rich and sensory culinary experience.

This EVOO has an exceptional flavor and pairs well with baguette, rusks, or focaccia.

Lastly, Muraglia's EVOO. Housed in fancy stoneware jars, Muraglia's EVOO is a pride of Italian culinary culture.

You may think that these oils randomly come in jars bearing different designs, but each illustration has EVOO with different notes and flavors. The label indicates if the EVOO is intense or medium in terms of fruitness. The intense fruity has a noticeable peppery and spicy flavor, making it an ideal medium for crudités and salads.

The EVOO in Heart Bottle is Williams Sonoma exclusive and is made from 100% Apulian olives, cold-pressed to perfection.
