Fast forward to 2024, Sprinkles now has 24 locations throughout the United States, and it's planning its global expansion in other cities including Tokyo and London.

I was debating between the cake and cupcakes for Valentine's Day this year, and I decided to go with the cupcakes as they're so much easier to share and store. The leftover cupcakes can be frozen and thawed, so I totally had the excuse to buy a dozen, ha!
Sprinkles had a special Valentine's Day menu from limited-edition cupcakes to cookies. Everything looked amazing. I resisted the urge to pre-order everything!
Fortunately, I was able to order the cupcakes just in time for Valentine's Day. They are only available for a limited time from 1/29 to 2/14, and luckily, I put in the order on the 13th. I got the XOX Bundle and had it scheduled for pickup at the Grove location on the 14th.
It's a small shop by the parking structure at the Grove, but it's got all the goodies.
The XOX Bundle includes 3 Dark Chocolate, 3 Red Velvet, 3 Vanilla, and 3 Raspberry Chocolate Chip cupcakes. It also includes a complimentary Valentine's gift wrap.
The "gift wrap" wasn't as fancy as I had expected, but it's just as the order page depicted it.
Initially, I wanted the I Love You Bundle because the colors looked prettier, but it didn't include the Dark Chocolate cupcakes. One of my family members loves chocolate cupcakes, so I had to get the XOX Bundle. The I Love You Bundle contains 4 Red Velvet, 4 Vanilla, and 4 Raspberry Chocolate Chip cupcakes.
When I was picking it up, the sales associate told me the Raspberry Chocolate Chip is a Valentine's Day exclusive flavor and has been selling very well.
