Top Picks from Upcoming and Concept Cars from LA Auto Show 2023

2024 is going be a monumental year for the automotive industry and prospective car buyers. 

There have been so much effort and capital going into the electric vehicle research & development and production for the past few years, as both new and legacy car companies strive to bring their best into the market.

I had the opportunity to take a peak at the upcoming car market at the LA Auto Show, and here are my top picks!

2024 Kia EV6 GT

Price: From $42,600 USD

Range: 218 miles battery-only

Horsepower: 576 HP

0-60 mph: 3.4 seconds

The brand-new Lucid all-electric luxury SUV is set to be available starting in late 2024, and its specifications may not be very precise. Nonetheless, Lucid has been on the rise as an EV brand, and its new release is highly anticipated.

The next two vehicles are Kia's "concept cars" which are not necessarily going to be available to purchase, but feature new designs and innovations that may be incorporated into its maker's future production vehicles.

Up next is an iconic American sports car, the Ford Mustang. It will be available in 2025 as a limited edition - Ford is planning to produce only about 1000 of these cars! Unlike the majority of Mustangs that we see on the streets today - which are far below $100,000 USD - the 2025 limited edition Mustang GTD will be starting around a whopping $300,000 USD.
