OXO Good Grips Steamer with Extendable Handle

I'm a huge dumplings fan, and steaming makes the best dumplings. 

It can transform a frozen bag of dumplings into restaurant-quality entree in less than 10 minutes. I used to have a bamboo steamer that a lot of dimsum restaurants use, but I needed something that was easier to care for and more convenient. As you can guess, bamboo items can't be washed in the dishwasher, so I needed to handwash them and also towel-dry them as they're prone to mold. 

OXO's Steamer with Extendable Handle is a functional kitchen tool that every steamer-lover needs. It's made of stainless steel, so caring it is a piece of cake, and it fits into most pots that's larger than 8" in diameter. 

The bottom of the steamer features 3 feet that fold flat for storage. 

When extended, the feet elevate the steamer 1 and 3/4" above water. 

The foldable feet saves so much space! 

The handle is retractable, so that it can be removed during cooking. 

Once the food's ready, you can place the handle back in to lift the steamer insert out of the pot. 

When the handle is removed, you can also easily cook larger food items. 

Once the feet are folded and steamer insert is folded like so, it can fit into a much smaller pot for nested storage. 

The handle features a fork hole, so that you won't have to hold the handle with your hand. You can simply slide a fork through the hole and lift the insert!
