Fellow Nespresso owners, what are your opinions on Nespresso's descaling agents? Do you think it's a gimmick? Apparently, some countries don't even sell descaling agents at their local Nespresso boutiques!
If you own a Nespresso coffee machine, you will need to descale the machine from time to time. The limescale deposit will need to be descaled, otherwise, the coffee will develop a sour taste.
You can run a cleaning cycle without the descaling agent I guess.
I add one whenever I do a descaling cycle because I feel like it really gets all the gunk out, and I don't taste anything weird after I run the cycle.
You can repeat the rinse cycle multiple times if you're concerned about the descaling agent still remaining.
