I fully rolled my eyes at the whole “swicy” trend at first — it felt like one of those things that exists purely for TikTok. But then I tried Mike’s Hot Honey on pizza and it completely flipped my opinion. It’s one of those flavors that sounds gimmicky until you taste how balanced it actually is. The sweetness isn’t overwhelming, and the heat comes in just enough to make everything more interesting.

Since then I’ve been putting it on way more than I expected — fried chicken, roasted veggies, breakfast sandwiches, and even a cheese board. It’s one of the few trends that actually made me change how I eat, not just something I tried once for fun. Definitely not a one-time novelty.
