I know it’s not new new, but Elden Ring is one of those games that just refuses to fall off. Every time I come back, I end up sinking another 40–60 hours without realizing it. The world is absurdly deep, the freedom is unmatched, and it never feels like the game is holding your hand—or wasting your time.
It’s not a casual game, but if you want something that actually respects your intelligence and rewards curiosity, Elden Ring is still peak PS5 gaming. One of those rare titles that makes you think, “Yeah… this is why I bought a console.”

1. Monster Hunter Wilds
This game is pure “gameplay first” energy. No fluff, no hand-holding nonsense — just systems stacked on systems. If you like learning mechanics, optimizing builds, and actually getting better at the game instead of watching cutscenes every five minutes, this one eats hours of your life without you even noticing.
2. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
Yeah, I know — it’s not for everyone. But if it clicks, it really clicks. It’s weird, it’s unapologetic, and it doesn’t feel like it was designed by a committee trying to maximize engagement metrics. Kojima just does his thing, and honestly, I respect that way more than another “safe” open-world checklist game.
