There's something strangely peaceful about Kansai.
Maybe it's because it's built out in the middle of Osaka Bay, but everything feels quiet and spacious. Watching the planes with nothing but water surrounding the airport was relaxing. I had a delayed flight there once, and instead of getting annoyed I just grabbed some ramen and watched the sunset over the bay. Not a bad way to kill a few hours.
Walking into the Marrakesh Menara Airport in Morocco felt like stepping into a piece of architecture rather than a transportation hub.
