Planner at heart who usually plans for 2 people with a mix of city stays and outdoor adventures.
Budget:
We’re not luxury travelers but not ultra-budget either
Requirements:
Mobile + desktop access
Can collaborate with my partner
Option to tag or favorite ideas from social media or websites
Export/share the trip itinerary (like a cute PDF or link)
Works offline or doesn’t die even when WiFi sucks
Bonus if it keeps track of expenses or alerts us for reschedules/cancellations
Extra Details:
Need help organizing multi-day travel itineraries! Hey all — I’m starting to plan more frequent trips (both domestic and international) and I’m realizing I really need a solid app or tool to help keep everything organized. I’m not just looking for a simple calendar — I want something that can help build out multi-day itineraries, keep track of reservations, activity ideas, restaurant lists, budget tracking, and ideally sync with flights and hotels.
A little about me: I’m a planner at heart but still want flexibility when I travel. I’m usually booking for 2 people, with a mix of city stays and outdoor adventures. We’re not luxury travelers but not ultra-budget either — we like to splurge selectively (think boutique hotels, great food, maybe a cooking class or a private tour here and there). Thanks in advance — would love to see screenshots or sample itineraries if you’re open to sharing! 🙏
Totally agree — Wanderlog has been a game changer for our family trips. I love that you can plan out your days, organize reservations, and map everything in one place. It’s super intuitive and lets me collaborate with my husband without a million texts or spreadsheets. I also use it to pin restaurant recs and playgrounds for our toddler, so we always have options nearby when we're out and about. Honestly can’t imagine trip planning without it now.
I use a combo of Google Maps lists and Google Docs. It’s super basic, but I star restaurants or museums on the map, then list the links in a doc with notes. Not the most elegant, but it’s easy to access from any device, and I don’t need to download another app.
