You can't skip Universal Studios! I don't know if you already planned to go to Universal Studios, but if you didn't, don't skip it. It's worth paying for the tickets, at least once. I like to go there occasionally when it's not terribly busy just to walk around and get on rides. A really good place to take your kids, too.
Best Attractions and Things to Do Near Universal Studios Hollywood
Whenever I visit Universal Studios Hollywood, I eat dinner at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.
This place has been around for decades, and the quality of their food and services has been consistently great.
They also have a store with Forrest Gump theme. It is totally worth checking out if you want to pick up some nice souvenirs!
We went to Universal Studios for Halloween weekend and stopped by a candy store called IT'SUGAR to load up for the trick-or-treaters.
I was pretty impressed by how large the store is and the variety of candy it has.
You can customize the box and pick individual flavors of candy and everything!
If you and your party like snacks (honestly, who doesn't?), I'd recommend a gourmet popcorn place called Popcornopolis.
There are so many shops at the CityWalk, and it is so much more enjoyable when you're touring the place while nibbling on delicious gourmet popcorn.
They have so much variety of popcorn that I always have a hard time deciding which one I want the most.
