Cheese Crackers that Pair Well with Gourmet Cheese
Extra Details:
I'm trying to build a festive and bountiful cheese platter for the dinner party I'm hosting this weekend. Would appreciate some recommendations for crackers that pair well with Gouda, Stilton and Brie.
Made with simple and whole ingredients (whole grain rye flour, yeast, and salt), these crackers are healthy and delicious. These crackers have no added sugar and are non-GMO.
I snack on these mostly with cream cheese, but they'll make great base crackers for other cheese varieties.
The best part about these crisps is their high fiber content (3g for 40 calories).
Depending on where you live, though, these crackers may be hard to find. I had to order mine from iHerb as well because I didn't see them in any of the local grocery stores around me. But they arrived promptly and well-packaged. No crumbled crackers. So if you're looking for an online vendor, I recommend iHerb. Amazon has them as well, but it usually sells them in bulk, like 6-10 boxes at a time.
Cheese and crackers are my staples whenever I’m hosting an event, so I’ve tried many water crackers over the years.
Carr’s, Pam’s, Wellington, 34 Degrees Crisps, and various in-store brands from grocery stores. You’d think that water biscuits taste the same (after all, they’re made with flour and water, right?). They, however, taste quite different due to their different crunchiness and thickness.
Wellington’s Traditional Water Crackers are the only crackers I buy.
They are crunchy and just thick enough to enhance the taste of the cheese without overwhelming it.
The crackers have similar nutritional values as other water crackers, ranging from 60-80 calories per 4 crackers.
The Wellington Traditional crackers are made in Canada but are distributed in New Jersey.
You can follow the serving suggestions printed on the packaging. Or you can use them for all kinds of recipes that use water crackers.
These crackers have the perfect thickness that is neither too thick nor thin.
34 Degrees Crisps are known for their paper-thin crackers, and they are good if you’re looking for crisp crackers. I find them to be too thin for serving cheese and a spoonful of jam. They always break.

Wellington Assorted Crackers
These crackers are amazing.
My local grocery store was having a buy1 get1 promotion, and I couldn’t resist.
Cheese and crackers are my favorite snacks, and these crackers go so well with any cheese.
The assorted crackers are great for parties since guests have different preferences, so having a variety always helps.
The crackers are made from the finest non-GMO ingredients, following Wellington’s traditional recipe dating back to the 1800s.
The box includes 6 different varieties:
Traditional Water Cracker
Round Wheat Cracker
Cracked Pepper Water Cracker
Croissant Cracker
Stoned Wheat Cracker
Multigrain Cracker
All of them taste great, and I particularly love the Traditional Water Cracker when paired with stronger cheese.
The Croissant Cracker tastes amazing – buttery soft.
These are so good with a robust flavor of rye.

Ditto Wellington.

They taste great with Brie cheese.
And crunchy!
