Extra Details:

I’m trying to upgrade my workspace with office supplies that actually make a difference in productivity and organization. I work from home on some days, but I’d also love products that I can use in my corporate office. Looking for recommendations on things like notebooks, desk organizers, pens, monitor stands, cable management, whiteboards, timers, planners, or any underrated productivity tools you can’t live without. What are your GOAT office supplies and why?

A good mouse.

For years, I treated mice as interchangeable. Whatever came in the box, whatever was on sale, whatever happened to be plugged into the computer. Then I spent a little more on a quality ergonomic mouse, and it changed how my workday felt.

When you use a mouse thousands of times a day, tiny annoyances add up. A cursor that doesn't track smoothly. Buttons that require too much force. An awkward shape that makes your wrist sore by 3 PM. You don't notice each individual annoyance, but your brain is constantly paying a small tax.

A good mouse removes that tax.

The cursor goes exactly where you want it to. Your hand stays comfortable during long work sessions. Custom buttons can replace repetitive actions. By the end of the day, you're less fatigued because you're not fighting your tools.

It's similar to having a comfortable office chair. Nobody buys one because it's exciting. They buy it because they use it every single day.

For me, a quality mouse falls into the same category as a good monitor and keyboard: not glamorous, but absolutely non-negotiable once you've experienced the difference. Going back to a cheap mouse feels like trying to run a marathon in dress shoes.
