I discovered this place while shopping in Burbank last week, and I had so much fun browsing and shopping for cool Halloween stuff. Located inside the Burbank Town Center, in the old Bed Bath and Beyond location, Glendale Halloween is a superstore for Halloween-related goods.
The store literally has everything related to Halloween - costumes, masks, makeup, wigs, home decor, lighting, and animatronics. Unless what you're seeking is super eclectic and rare, you will be able to get ready for Halloween shopping here. It's so much better than Party City where I used to get my Halloween costumes. I always thought the choices were limited there, so Glendale Halloween was a very-needed, fresh find!
Their Haunted House section was legit. There were some animated life-sized figures that scared me half to death!
Note the store's return policy - it only offers exchanges until 10/20, and there are no refunds, given the store's seasonal nature.
