Made of edible timothy hay, Oxbow's Timothy Bungalow is one of my chin's favorite shelters/toys. He has a lot of houses in his cage, but he likes this bungalow the most.
The Timothy Bungalow is available in 2 sizes - medium and large. For a chinchilla, the medium is perfect. Bungalows are great for other small animals, as well like rabbits and guinea pigs.
Can you spot my chin chilling in the bungalow? I love this guy!
He loves taking naps there, and I find him nibbling on it when he's bored or hungry. He eventually breaks the hay strands and completely demolishes the bungalow, but that's where all the fun is. It's so cute watching him shred the bungalow into pieces. I call it a little chin construction. This keeps him busy and occupied, and most importantly, so happy.
