How do I Keep a Nice House From Looking Like a Dog Lives There
For Whom/What:
someone who love their dogs but also love upholstered furniture,
Budget:
any
Requirements:
Must address fur, paw prints, odor, drool or general dog chaos
Prefer products that disappear visually into a nice interior
Extra Details:
We have two dogs, and I love them. I would simply prefer visitors to discover that fact by seeing the dogs, not by finding a layer of hair on their black trousers five minutes after sitting down.
We’re building/maintaining a fairly design-conscious home, so I’m especially interested in solutions that don’t replace “dog mess” with “house full of ugly pet equipment.”
The ChomChom roller looks like something I would normally scroll right past because I assumed it was another viral pet-hair gadget.
Unfortunately, TikTok was right about this one.
It is absurdly good at getting dog hair off upholstery. Sofa, upholstered chairs, bedding, car seats—just roll it back and forth a few times and open the little compartment to discover a horrifying amount of hair you apparently had been living with.
No sticky sheets to replace either.
We have two dogs too and nice furniture, so ours gets used constantly.
