Looking for luxury, high-end diffusers that I can gift to a friend who just finished building her dream house. I hope to find some diffuser options that have unique scents that don't remind me of a bathroom cleaner or cheap doctor's office.
You can't beat Cire Trudon's home fragrances if you're looking for high-end diffusers and other scented home products. I used to be a huge fan of Diptyque, but once I tried Trudon, there was no going back!
A lot of Trudon's scents are earthy and natural, perfectly gender-neutral and gift-worthy. I've gifted Trudon's diffusers to so many people, and I have not yet met a single person who didn't like it. They all texted me saying how much they LOVED their new diffusers.
The scent description for Abd El Kader reads Moroccan mint tea.
The fragrance description from Trudon's website reads as follows:
"A gust of freedom blowing from the Mascara coast and the mountains picks up on its way the green scents of fresh mint, the rashness of fights, ginger's hot and peppered air, and the perfume of tea and tobacco from the Ouled Nail tribe"
To me, the scent smells like fresh moss and mint, totally earthy and addictive. In a world where most home fragrances focus heavily on floral and citrus notes, Abd El Kader's fragrance is such a pleasant find.
The diffuser bottle that is shaped out of the same emblematic Trudon-green glass holds 350ml of scented oil.
I also find this diffuser to be much longer-lasting than other diffusers, which is a huge plus. The diffuser allows a 3 to 5-month-long, continuous diffusion.
Nest New York's diffusers are my favorites because their scents last a really long time. Also, I find their scents to be very refreshing and pleasant.
Crafted with the highest-quality fragrance oils that continuously release fragrance for approximately 90 days, these diffusers are housed in pretty, opaque glass bottles.
Bamboo and Grapefruit are two of the most popular scents, and I concur.
Grapefruit's fragrance story reads,
"zesty and effervescent. Pink pomelo grapefruit and watery green nuances are blended with lily of the valley and coriander blossom".
Bamboo's fragrance story reads,
"fresh and modern, flowering bamboo is mingled with a variety of white florals, sparkling citrus, and fresh green accords".
Depending on the number of reeds you put in, you can control the intensity of the fragrance. I suggest adding more reeds after a month or so to "freshen up" the lids and increase the intensity of the fragrance.
