Luxury Flats That are Comfortable for All-Day Walking
For Whom/What:
someone who's traveling frequently and all-day walking
Budget:
willing to invest
Requirements:
Needs to survive airport days + walking
No painful break-in period
Elegant enough for nice restaurants
Extra Details:
I’m tired of buying “beautiful but impossible” shoes. Comparing brands like Chanel, The Row, Alaïa, Gucci, Ferragamo, etc. Would love brutally honest opinions from people who’ve actually worn theirs for full travel days instead of just car-to-dinner situations.
This might be controversial but the most comfortable “luxury” flats I own are technically not ballet flats at all — they’re Loro Piana summer walk loafers. I originally bought them because I was tired of arriving at dinners looking exhausted after walking all day while traveling.
They somehow make every outfit look expensive even when you’re wearing leggings and a sweater in the airport. Also they don’t blister. That alone already puts them above like 70% of designer shoes marketed to women.
