Must-Buy Items at Costco: What Are Your Favorites?
For Whom/What:
family of 3
Requirements:
good value
Extra Details:
Planning a Costco run for the month. Besides the basics like paper towel and cleaning supplies, what are your Costco must-buys? Are there any new, seasonal items out? We are not a big family, so bulk buying produce or perishable items are out of the option.
I discovered Thai Box's Masala Chai Concentrate at Costco, and it’s officially my favorite chai blend! ☕️✨ The rich, spiced flavor is delightful, making it perfect for cozy mornings or an afternoon pick-me-up. If you love a good chai, you have to check this out next time you’re at Costco. Your taste buds will thank you.
Costco has Truff right now. I was excited to find them as they're quite pricy, and the bundles at Costco have the best value. I got the Truff pasta sauce bundle and the hot sauce and olive oil set, and they're phenomenal. The hot sauce gift set includes the original hot sauce, jalapeno lime hot sauce, the hotter hot sauce, and the black truffle oil. The pasta sauce bundle contains a jar of spicy marinara and regular marinara. The Truff hot sauces and pasta sauces are infused with black truffle, giving the traditional hot sauce and pasta sauce a unique aroma.
Chicken fried rice!!! Costco sells it in bulk, so it’s cost-effective, especially for families or meal prepping. You get a good amount of food for the price.
It’s a super easy, ready-to-heat meal, perfect for busy days. You can quickly cook it in a skillet or microwave, making it ideal for when you don’t have much time to prepare dinner. The fried rice has a nice balance of savory soy sauce, tender chicken, and vegetables like peas, carrots, and corn. The yakitori-style chicken adds a grilled flavor, which makes it tastier than basic fried rice options.
If you like edamame, Costco has the best edamame at the best value.
2. Frozen broccoli
Frozen broccoli last longer than the fresh one and is so easy to use. There are I believe 4 individually-packaged smaller packets in a bag, and you can steam them easily in a microwave.
[Fresh Food/Ready Made]
Costco rotisserie chicken can't be beat. The bird's huge and marinated to perfection, and it's only 5 bucks.
[Pantry]
Spices - their Kirkland Signature spices are high quality and because they have long expiration date, any family size can go through it no problem.
[Misc]
Costco also has a really good assortment of flowers at competitive pricing.
