Extra Details:
What is the kitchen appliance you can't imagine being without? My husband and I are all about making quality food, but we don't want to spend all day cooking. We already have a Vitamix blender that gets used almost every day from breakfast smoothies to hearty soups for sick days. So besides a blender, what appliances do you swear by? Other beverage maker recommendations, such as coffee machines are welcome.
The Instant Pot is incredibly useful for busy working professionals because it combines multiple cooking functions into one convenient appliance, making meal preparation faster and easier. This all-in-one pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté pan, and yogurt maker allows you to cook a wide range of dishes with minimal effort. With its fast-pressure cooking mode, you can prepare wholesome meals in a fraction of the time it would take using traditional methods, which is perfect for those who have limited time in the evenings. The "set-it-and-forget-it" functionality means you can throw in your ingredients, select a program, and let the Instant Pot do the rest, freeing you up to focus on other tasks. Additionally, its ability to cook in bulk means you can easily meal prep for the week, ensuring healthy, homemade meals are always on hand. For anyone juggling a busy work schedule, the Instant Pot is a lifesaver that saves both time and stress in the kitchen.
Breville Smart Oven/Air Fryer for me. It's essentially a smaller oven that doubles as an air fryer with preset functions like pizza, toast, roast, dehydrate, etc., so I find myself reaching for this way more than a full-size oven.
There is a smarter, app-powered and more expensive version, too, but don't buy it. This one works just fine and is probably less buggy.
I swear by the Vermicular Musui Kamado. It’s one of those appliances you never knew you needed until you try it. The way it locks in flavors while cooking at low heat is amazing—it can slow-cook, steam, and sear like a pro. It’s perfect for everything from fluffy rice to filling soups and stews to perfectly tender meats and veggies. And it has that sleek, minimalist design that looks so good on the countertop. It’s a game changer and a worthy investment if you love experimenting with different recipes and want to get restaurant-quality results at home.
