I'm looking for wall and door soundproofing materials for my home office. I mostly do a lot of conference calls, so I'm not looking for a commercial-grade soundproofing system like the one used in a recording studio. Any recommendations for such needs? Thank you!
Each panel is nice and thick. As long as you seal the gap where sound escapes using these panels, your office is going to be noticeably quieter.
You can install these panels using a 3M double-sided adhesive tape that doesn't damage the surface. That way, this is going to be a soundproofing solution that is reversible when you're moving out or selling the house. I used Command Large Picture Hanging Strips for my project.
There are multiple thicknesses available from SoundAssured, and mine is 4 inches thick, which is the thickest. The thinnest one is 1 inch thick.

These panels are great for covering walls.
They absorb echos very well, which is why I'm thinking they're going to be great for home offices.
The installation's a bit tricky and requires 2 people, but once you get the hang of it, the process will speed up.
