I went to Chief's Luau, an authentic Polynesian feast/performance show, and I was really impressed with their array of souvenirs. I ended up buying one of the wooden turtles. The show itself was also phenomenal, so I suggest Chief's Luau as one of your evening activities and shop for its souvenirs.
They set up a small outdoor kiosk by the drink section, and their woodwork was quite nice. I found the prices to be reasonable, as well. They ranged from $50-$200. The turtle I got was priced at $150.
If you are interested in Polynesian culture, I recommend Chief's Luau and its souvenirs!
I was given a cookie on the plane (Hawaiian Airlines) when I landed in Honolulu, and I was immediately obsessed with it so I made a mental note to buy it in bulk. I had a Chocolate Chip Macadamia flavor, but when I visited a store in person, there were so many flavors! I went there in October, so there were some limited-edition pumpkin-flavored cookies. The store has plenty of sample cookies to try, so you can taste-test any flavor before purchasing.
The store has a lot of gift boxes, so they will be great options if you're looking for souvenir gifts. If you're buying the cookies for yourself, you can opt for the Build Your Own Box. The unit price is cheaper than the gift boxes, and you get to pick and choose the flavors of individual cookies.
Currently, Honolulu Cookie Company has 2 seasonal flavors - Pumpkin and White Chocolate Pumpkin. It has a new flavor, Taro, and I really liked it. The White Chocolate Pumpkin is so, so good!
Starting November 1st, there will be more holiday flavors like Peppermint Macadamia, Dark Chocolate Peppermint Macadamia, and White Chocolate Ginger Spice.
I bought several small gift boxes to give to my coworkers and a large collection box for my family. They loved the cookies!
If you like cute Japanese stuffed animals and you happen to be in Hawaii, check out Anirollz plush animals. You can find them in any ABC Store, and they are so soft and cute. Anirollz has collaborated with SPAM®, and it's the cutest collection!
There are also stuffed animals exclusive to ABC. I don't believe they are by Anirollz, but these Mochi Fuwa Plush toys are also super cute.
ABC Stores has other unique souvenirs that are worth checking out, like pineapple-shaped cutting boards, tropical shot glass, metal mirrors, or pill boxes.
They aren't too expensive, either, and ABC Stores are everywhere, so when you get a chance, check them out.
