I'm a first-time mom due in November. What brand of baby bottles have worked for you? I heard Dr. Brown's bottles are good but are a pain to wash because they have so many parts.

Congrats on your baby! đź’› As a fellow mom, I totally get wanting a bottle that’s easy to clean but also great for baby. I personally use the Pigeon SoftTouch™ Peristaltic Plus Bottles, and they've been amazing.

When my baby was around 6 weeks old, we hit a rough patch with bottle-feeding. I was mainly nursing, but I wanted a bottle that would mimic breastfeeding so my partner could help with feeds. We had already tried a few brands, but my baby kept rejecting them or getting too gassy.

Enter the Pigeon SoftTouch™ Peristaltic Plus. I was skeptical at first, but the super soft, stretchy nipple made a huge difference. It actually compressed and moved like the breast, which helped my baby latch onto it much more easily. I also noticed fewer hiccups and spit-ups, thanks to the built-in vent.

Not surprisingly, Pigeon is a top hospital-recommended brand in Japan and widely used in NICUs. I think the bottles are a lot more popular there than in the States. They're a little harder to find offline, mostly they're not as well known, but I got them online, so no problem there.

Another thing I loved? The bottle was so lightweight, which made it easy for my baby to hold as they got older. Plus, fewer parts = easier cleaning (a total win when you’re washing bottles all day).

Honestly, Pigeon saved us during that transition phase, and I always recommend it to parents struggling with bottle refusal. If you love high-quality bottles with a baby-friendly design, this could be a great new addition to your collection.

For my baby, Hegen bottles worked really well. I discovered the brand at a baby fair when I was pregnant last year. I liked the fact that the bottle can "grow" with the baby. With different lids or attachments, a single Hegen bottle can be used as a milk bottle, a sippy cup, or a container for solids and snacks.

I also find cleaning the bottle much easier than other traditional bottles with round necks - the wider, square opening is easier to reach and clean.

Grosmimi's PPSU Baby Bottles were our little one's go-to bottles. The durability of PPSU is next level—it doesn’t stain or absorb odors like some other bottles, and it holds up so well even after endless sterilizations. The anti-colic straw system actually works, making feeding time smoother with way less gas and fussiness. The 360° weighted straw is so useful because it lets babies drink from any angle, which is perfect when they start grabbing the bottle themselves. The sleek design is just a bonus—it looks great and feels premium. Definitely worth it if you want a high-quality, hassle-free bottle for your baby.

Dr. Brown’s Anti-Colic Bottle (Wide Neck) was a lifesaver for my gassy baby! The vent system really helped reduce air bubbles, which meant less gas, reflux, and spit-up—a total game changer. I also loved the wide neck design because it was easier to clean and felt more like a natural latch for my baby.

Unlike other bottles, these actually helped with digestion instead of making things worse. My baby was noticeably less fussy and gassy after feeds. The only downside? A few extra parts to clean—but totally worth it for a happier, more comfortable baby! 💙
