This is one of those products I thought was hilariously unnecessary before actually doing long flights with a super-active toddler. Up until our kid started walking, I quite rather enjoyed flying because all I needed to do was keep the baby fed and made sure he got enough sleep.
The ride-on suitcase part is surprisingly useful in the airport when your kid suddenly decides his legs have stopped functioning, but the real reason we use it is turning the airplane seat into a little bed/leg-rest situation.
My toddler isn't guaranteed to sleep just because this exists—nothing has that kind of power—but he can stretch out instead of spending 12 hours kicking the seat in front of him and trying to find somewhere to put his legs.
