What do you take as a vitamin C supplement? Many vitamin C pills on the market give me a stomachache, so I try to stay away from those. Are oranges my only option, lol?
Pure Encapsulations Buffered Vitamin C or NOW Foods Buffered C-1000.
If vitamin C pills upset your stomach (totally relatable!), there are definitely other options that work just as well—and no, you’re not limited to oranges, lol.
Look for a buffered form of vitamin C, like Calcium Ascorbate or Sodium Ascorbate. These are easier on the stomach because they’re less acidic.
Taking sufficient vitamins has become more important than ever before. All of my family members take high-dose vitamin C, and we’ve been adding a squirt or two of this lemon juice to our drinks. I could buy bags of fresh lemons and squeeze them, but I get lazy from time to time. So, I’ll take anything that can simplify kitchen tasks!
But seriously though, this lemon juice is highly concentrated and tastes great. I ordered them on Amazon because they were bestsellers, and I’m very satisfied.
I bought 2 bottles (come as a set) for a little less than $10, so that’s a steal, in my opinion. Each bottle is 32 oz - it’s a bargain.
I make lemon Coke with this lemon juice extract, and it makes regular Diet Coke tastes soooo much better and fresher.
In a can of Diet Coke, I add about 2-3 tablespoons of lemon extract. It elevates the plain Coke flavor while giving me an extra vitamin C boost.
I can still tell the difference from real, freshly squeezed lemon juice; however, as far as the extracts go, this sits at the top of my ranking.
