I am in love with the Paris vase from Astier de Villatte.
One of my friends is a big fan of Astier de Villatte, and I was introduced to the brand through her. Astier de Villatte is a French ceramic workshop brand established in 1996 that strives to capture the essence of French chic and tradition. My friend owns a china cabinet full of Astier de Villatte pieces, and it's such a treat to go to her house!
My very first Astier de Villatte piece is the Paris vase. I purchased mine from Sue Fisher King, an authorized retailer of Astier de Villatte in the United States.
The first thing you would notice about Astier de Villatte pieces is how lightweight they are.
Even this vase is so surprisingly lightweight despite its size and look.
The vase has a wide opening, so it holds a lot of flowers.
The vase gets narrower towards the bottom, but the pedestal base is very sturdy and substantial. I put dozens of flowers before, and the base still felt stable. Zero wobble!
I put 2 large flower arrangements I got from the grocery store. I love this selection of flowers - lots of red and yellow, perfect for the holidays.
As I mentioned, this vase holds a lot of flowers. And I feel like it looks better when the arrangement is fuller. 2 large flower bouquets look very nice, in my opinion.
I plan on adding more Astier de Villatte pieces, possibly dinnerware and other ceramic items like an incense holder, in the future. They are classic and timeless!
