Hay has such unique items that are reasonably priced and high quality. 

Sure, compared to Ikea or Walmart, Hay products are not cheap, but I think they're reasonably priced considering their quality, modern design, and pastel colors. I already own several Hay items, and this basket is one of my favorite Hay items. 

It's been years since I bought this basket, and at some point since my purchase, Hay renamed the product to "basket" from "laundry basket". 

The basket comes in 2 sizes and 4 colors. There used to be more colors, but currently, only 4 colors remain. Hay introduces new colors frequently, so be sure to check its website for new releases if you have specific colors in mind. 

For your reference, this is the large basket. It's a really sizable basket, and I believe it's going to suit people who collect laundry in one basket. I purchased several small baskets because I presort my laundry into towels, bedding, daily clothing, underwear, etc. And the small basket is the perfect size. 

It's funny - I've been keeping the tag on for some reason. The basket looks better with the tag - maybe it's the vintage cardboard tag design or the black, simple font that labels the basket, but it's got some appeal, for sure. 

The basket is in light grey color, and it goes really well with my grey-toned bathroom. 

One small basket is enough for one load in my HE drum washer. 

My washer isn't too large, and I try not to overload it, so this basket size is literally perfect. 

The basket is made of sturdy plastic, so it's very lightweight. 

I have no problem lugging the basket full of wet pool towels from the backyard pool to the laundry room. 

Although I use it for laundry, this multi-purpose basket can be used to organize toys, tidy up loose items in the living room or store throw blankets and pillows. 

So nicely constructed. 

I have a pile of laundry now, so must run a load!
