I've been forever looking for large paintings for the hallway in my house, preferably in a set of 3. I didn't want to spend a ton of money, but the wall was oversized, so I decided to get prints on canvas, instead of originals.
I found Dean Russo's paintings on iCanvas, and I fell in love with his works! He is based in Brooklyn.
As an animal lover, Russo's pet portraits with vibrant colors and typography are definitely something that I wanted. I placed an order for 3 prints and excitedly awaited the delivery.
I ordered the XXL size (40" x 60") with a matte black frame.
Unfortunately, iCanvas sent me a completely wrong print, size, and frame color. I inquired about it, and sadly iCanvas sent a duplicate one. Still the wrong print, size, and frame color. iCanvas eventually sent me the correct order and advised me to keep both of these.
I donated one and hung the other one in my home office area where my dogs sleep.
This painting of the rottweiler was also delivered without the frame, but iCanvas was quick to rectify the issue. It was frustrating to receive incorrect items, but iCanvas' prompt response and resolution eased my frustration.
And I finally hung my paintings!
In love with these vibrant colors! And look at his facial expression - typical Staffy!
The Rottweiler painting was re-delivered with the frame. And it's looking nice.
I have ceiling pendants in the hallway, and each pendant highlights and showcases each painting beautifully.
These are a handsome set of paintings, and I highly recommend Dean Russo's works.
