Designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2014, the IC Lights have become the icon of Flos. There are many Flos light products, but the IC is my favorite collection. It highlights the industrial simplicity with intricate symbolism Anastassiades envisioned. The white sphere is juxtaposed with a brass stem and diffuses soft light, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. Modern designs can feel cold and industrial as they are minimalistic by nature; however, the diffused glow from the opaque orb adds warmth.

The IC Lights come in several types - suspension, table, wall/ceiling, and floor. You can choose the type based on your interior needs and style.

Wall/Ceiling

I love table lamps as they can be placed anywhere and are easy to carry even if I have to move. The wall/ceiling and suspension types are semi-permanent and hard to relocate as they require electrical wiring.

This elegant table lamp has 3 variations - T1 Low, T1 High, and T2.

This is the T1 Low.

And this is the T1 Tall. I liked this one better, so I ordered this in the chrome finish.

Both the T1 and T2 are gorgeous! The table version of IC Light consists of an opaque sphere resting on a thin stem, resulting in a modern silhouette.

The IC lights are available in 4 stem finishes - black, brass, chrome, and red burgundy. The opaque white orb is the same regardless of the finish you get.

Remarkably simple yet unmistakenly elegant, the IC lamp is one of my favorite lamps.

My lamp is in chrome finish, and you can see the diffuser has a chrome accent where it connects to the stem. These subtle details set the original apart from replicas.

So seamless!

The legs have rubber gaskets to prevent them from skidding. They also protect the surface from getting scratched.

There is a dimmer on the power cord.

Note that it requires a special type of bulb.

When lit, the opaque sphere diffuses light that looks like a full moon. It is a one-of-a-kind light fixture that won't go out of style.
