I've been searching high and low for a nursery wallpaper that is gender-neutral. Some wallpapers I've seen were eye-catching but leaned trendy, and I was worried that they would look gaudy after a few months. And I discovered Nestig.
Nestig is well-known for its Wave Crib which transitions from an infant crib to a full-sized toddler bed. I did not purchase their crib because I was already gifted a Stokke crib, which also transitions to a full-sized toddler bed, but I fell in love with their wall murals. The watercolor and handpainted looks of the murals were exactly what I was looking for. I had such a hard time choosing the wall mural because I loved every single one of them.
I went with the Safari Wall Mural. I measured my nursery wall carefully and placed an order even without ordering a sample! The lead time is about 4 weeks, and at 32 weeks pregnant, I didn't have much time, haha.
A roll of wall mural is 10 ft tall and 12.8 ft wide. It comes in a total of 8 panels, and each panel is 19.25 inches wide. Nestig recommends professional installation, and I agree. It's not the easiest wallpaper to install, and I'm so glad I went with a professional. It would've given my husband a hard time for sure.
The wallpaper finally arrived! It is printed on non-toxic, PVC-free paper with Greenguard Gold-certified inks.
This was my nursery without the wallpaper. Definitely looked empty and undone.

The panels are labeled a, b, c ... on the bottom so that you won't have to second guess if the patterns line up.
I peeked into the nursery during the installation, and it was looking great!
And it's done!
The wall feels 1000% better and actually looks like a nursery. It is welcoming, and I loved how it turned out. Also, after the installation, there wasn't any chemical smell, which I thought was worth mentioning.

This wallpaper is going to grow with the baby. The color scheme and theme complement the rest of my nursery furniture, and the wallpaper is playful and imaginative. This room is really looking like a nursery every day!
