We can't believe it's almost December!
It feels like just yesterday we celebrated Halloween, and here we are, past Thanksgiving. We hinted in our last post that we'd be doing our favorite seasonal snacks from Trader Joe's. These are irresistibly delicious and full of holiday spirit.
We've got the Peppermint Pretzel Slims, Dark Chocolate Covered Peppermint Joe-Joe's, and Salty Honey Toffee Milk Chocolate Covered Crackers.
We need to portion these, otherwise, we would end up munching on the whole thing throughout the day.
If you love peppermint-flavored snacks, these Peppermint Pretzel Slims are undoubtedly going to win your heart. Thin, crunchy pretzel slims have a white chocolate coating and are sprinkled with peppermint candy bits.
They are similar to Snack Factory's Pretzel Crisps (white chocolate & peppermint), but we find them to be better. The slims hit the perfect balance between salty and sweet.
We wish they come in a larger bag, though. They are a tad too small for large parties or gatherings.
Another peppermint-flavored snack we can't get enough of is the Dark Chocolate Covered Peppermint Joe-Joe's.
We frequently go to Starbucks when Peppermint Mocha is available, so you can understand our love for Peppermint.
A box contains 10 chocolate-covered Joe-Joe's.
You get a generous dark chocolate coating on the outside, and bits of peppermint candy are sprinkled on each Joe-Joe's. They are on the sweeter side, and they make great desserts.
We saved the best for last.
This is our first time trying the Salty Honey Toffee Milk Chocolate Covered Crackers, and we immediately decided that we needed more of these confectionary perfection in our life.
I mean, it's hard to mess up chocolate-covered biscuits, but the salty honey toffee drizzle takes the biscuit to another level.
Buttery and sweet, these may be our very favorite!
When we were buying these, the checkout person told us they'd sell out within weeks. After trying these, we went back and got some more, so they'd last us through the holidays.
Absurdly good, and we highly recommend them as special holiday treats.
