As I'm nesting and getting the nursery up and ready for my baby, I'm discovering so many cool baby products. At first, I thought all I needed to get were the "big gadgets" like a stroller, a crib, and a nursing chair, but oh boy, babies need so many things! Apparently, diaper rash is real and common, and it happens even among the most caring and diligent moms.

I can't believe I just heard about this diaper rash cream. I guess I really am new to this motherhood thing. Pinxav (pronounced "Pink-Salve") has been around since 1927! It was founded in Cleveland Ohio, and it has been a family-run business for decades.

Pinxav is a diaper rash ointment; however, it is multi-purpose and can be used more than just to heal diaper rash.

Anyone in your family can use it to address various skin irritations and problems like rashes and chapped skin, and it also works to protect and prevent dry and cracked skin.

I tried a small sample on the spot, and I immediately fell in love with it. It's so soothing and moisturizing, yet it doesn't have the vaseline-like grease and oiliness.

You can buy Pinxav at select Kroger and Walmart stores. You can also buy the ointment directly from Pinxav.

It is available in 2 sizes - a 4 oz tube and a 16 oz jar.

I personally prefer the 4 oz tube because I find tubes more hygienic (no finger dipping), and a little goes a long way.

I'm already using this on my ankles and heels as they're getting dry and cracked. Much better than Vaseline, and you can see the improvement right away.
