Reddy Ceramic & Bamboo Elevated Pet Bowl

I love these new dog bowls from Reddy.

I've been forever looking for secure dog bowls that don't slide around, preferably in ceramic. My dog gets scared of the noise lightweight bowls make when they slide, so they needed to be substantial in weight and grounded.

I found the Ceramic & Bamboo Elevated Pet Bowl from Reddy while shopping at Petco, and I knew they were exactly what my dog needed.

I bought 2 single pet bowls, so I can mix&match colors; however, Reddy also offers the double-bowl variety. That one features a dual bamboo bowl holder.

The light-colored bamboo base slightly elevates the bowl to give it extra height, and it also secures the ceramic bowl from moving around.

The bowl has a 3.5-cup capacity, and the ceramic coating is very smooth and easy to clean.

The bowls are dishwasher and microwave safe, just like any other ceramic dinnerware. The base is made of bamboo, so it's best to wipe it clean with a damp cloth occasionally.

The base itself is very lightweight, but the cross-construction supports the bowl in a very stable and secure way. The bowl fits inside the base perfectly, too.

The Reddy mark and care instructions printed on the bottom of the bowl do disappear after a few washes in the dishwasher. The photo was taken as soon as I unboxed it, FYI.

The bamboo base also features rubber feet, and they help keep set in place while protecting floors.

You guessed it - I bought the blue one for water, haha.

The bowls do not move around, and they don't bother my dog - no skidding around, no problem!

They're super contemporary and look beautiful in my kitchen.

The 3.5 cup capacity is ideal for small to medium dogs, I'd say about 30-35lbs. My dog weighs 29 lbs, and it's perfect.

As you can tell from the photos, the elevation isn't much, so I don't recommend these bowls to taller breeds; however, if you're looking for slightly-elevated dog bowls that do not slide around, they're perfect.

Now I come to think about it, these bowls will look really nice in Mid-Century Modern homes, too. So stylish and durable.

The only downside is that Petco doesn't sell replacement parts (individual bowl or base), but other than that, I cannot recommend these bowls enough.
