Star Vehicles of Hollywood Films at the Petersen Automotive Museum

Welcome to part 4 of the Petersen Automotive Museum post!

At the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, you can find famous cars that starred in Hollywood movies.

My absolute favorites were the DeLorean, the Batmobile, the Bumblebee, and the Mystery Machine.

88 miles! This is DMC DeLorean that starred in the movie Back to the Future in 1985.

It has been almost 40 years since Back to the Future was released, and this DeLorean is in its peak condition.

All the gadgets that were featured in the movie are not only in tact but also fully operational. They won't  travel through time, but they light up and blink just like they do in the movie.

The presentation of electrical parts are very well-done, and the time circuits are still on.

This is the one and only Batmobile which starred in the 1989 Batman with Michael Keaton as the Batman.

With its long and proportionally narrow body, it looks like a giant rocket launcher on wheels. The all-black finish fittingly portrays the ambiance of a nocturnal superhero.

Up next is the 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro that starred as the Bumblebee in the 2007 Transformers.

The 5th generation Chevrolet Camaros were manufactured around 2010 to 2015, and I still see many of them on the streets in 2023.

I am personally a huge fan of the 5th gen Camaros, and the Bumblebee version absolutely perfected the customization.

The last on our list is the Mystery Machine from the live-action Scooby Doo released in 2002.

The kids really like this one! I patiently waited in line to take these shots. Scooby-doo is one of the all-time classics indeed.
