I am picky about towels, and these days, I really like Tekla towels. I first bought two guest towels and hand towels from Tekla because I wasn't sure how I was going to like them. Established in 2017 in Copenhagen, Tekla is a home textile brand that gets inspiration from art and architecture.

Tekla is best known for its colorful striped towels, but I went with solid, colored towels. I've used white towels for as long as I can remember, so getting colored towels was a huge step for me, haha!

Each towel is packaged separately in a 100% biodegradable and compostable material.

The guest towel measures 30cm x 50cm (12" x 20"), and the hand towel measures 50cm x 80cm (20" x 31").

These towels are not the plushiest, so if you're searching for thick and plush towels, you may be disappointed. They still feel incredibly soft and highly absorbent. They also dry much faster.

Here is the size comparison between the guest and hand towels.

All Tekla towels have the Tekla logo printed on the side label. It is one of the distinctive characteristics of Tekla towels - very iconic!

All Tekla towels come with a hanging loop.

Personally, I don't need hanging loops on hand towels because I like to hang them flat on a towel bar, but I really appreciate the hanging loop on the guest towels and bath towels.

These towels are made in Portugal, and the care instructions are on the label.

These towels feel luxurious and soft to the touch. And the mint and aqua colors are so pretty!
