The Original Makeup Eraser

I’ve been using the Original Makeup Eraser to wash my face, and I now can’t live without it. I literally pack a bunch of these erasers even when I travel.

The Original Makeup Eraser is a machine washable and reusable makeup eraser that lasts 3 to 5 years.

It is made from a premium and patented microfiber-like cloth that creates a “suction” for makeup, oil, and other dirt on your face. Apparently, you can remove all traces of makeup (even the stubborn waterproof ones) with this.

The cloth is double-sided for dual-action cleaning. The short fiber side works best at eliminating makeup, while the longer fiber side (the side with the tag) gently exfoliates to remove dead skin cells.

Also, according to the manufacturer, one Original Makeup Eraser is equal to 3600 makeup wipes. 

I can’t attest to this personally since I’ve never used disposable wipes. If you have been using makeup wipes and are looking for more environmentally conscious options, you’ll be satisfied with these.

BUT. I actually use it a bit differently than the recommended instructions. I start by cleansing oil to emulsify a day’s worth of makeup and gunk and use the Original Makeup Eraser to “rinse” my face. It’s so much more effective and thorough than rinsing with my hands. And my face feels so much cleaner.

There are many sizes and colors on the Original Makeup Eraser’s website, and you can find several “exclusive sets” from different retailers like Costco or Nordstrom. I bought 2 sets of the 7-day pack with a mesh washing bag. I keep one in my gym bag because I take a shower there after my workout.

This cute wash bag fits all 7 clothes, and it washes incredibly well in a washing machine.

Each wipe measures 5in x 4in.
