I love Dyson's hair care products, and the Corrale™ Hair Straightener is the latest addition to my hair styling arsenal.
I gotta admit, the biggest selling point was the fact that it's cord-free.
Dyson proudly boasts how effectively and effortlessly it can style your hair all without damaging your hair, but honestly, I wouldn't have purchased it if it wasn't cordless.
Dyson's Corrale™ straightener is equipped with flexing plates that shape to gather hair.
The flexing plates are made of manganese copper alloy plates, and they "flex" around your hair to gather it and minimize damage to your hair.
Unboxing and unwrapping always feel so, so good!
These are everything that was included in the box -
Gotta love Dyson's sleek design.
The manganese copper alloy plates!
The operating buttons are intuitive - once you "open" the straightener by pushing the toggle up, you are left with 3 buttons - on/off and 2 buttons for setting the temperature.
The straightener worked really well even if it was cordless.
I was doubtful that the temperature wouldn't be as high as regular hair straighteners, but nope. Just like Dyson's cordless vacuums, the Corrale straightener reached all 3 temperature settings quickly and maintained the temperatures throughout styling.
You can also charge the straightener as you're using it, just like traditional straighteners.
You can charge the straightener by attaching the charging cord directly to the straightener, and the charging cord swivels smoothly, so you can style your hair as easily as possible. I still make sure to keep my straightener fully charged to fully benefit from the "cordless" straightener.
I charge my straightener on the charging station it came with.
It doubles as a resting dock during styling, but I personally just use it as a charging station.
The Corrale™ straightener also comes with a travel pouch, and it's pretty high quality.
I use it as a resting pad as well when I'm styling my hair to protect the bathroom vanity countertop.
