When you visit an Astier de Villatte store, you'll soon discover it is so much more than a place for dinnerware and mugs.

You can find French-inspired sculptures, lamps, home textiles, decorative objects, and various artworks.

There were so many amazing pieces in the shop, but what really attracted me the most were the incense sticks and burners. There is something therapeutic about burning incense after work - it's like an unwinding ritual that gets my mind off work and helps me get ready for bed. I've been meaning to buy some incense, and these were exactly what I was searching for.

The glass cloches capture the scents of incense, so you can choose one you like. After carefully sampling the fragrances, I chose the Buenos Aires scent. Incense sticks tend to last much longer than candles, in my experience, so I didn't want to buy multiple boxes.

A box contains approximately 125 sticks, and each stick has 30 minutes burning time.

Buenos Aires contains essences of Pink Peppercorn, Mandarine, Ylang Ylang, Rose, Magnolia, Violet, Heliotrope, Musk and Tonka.

Due to the delicate nature of Astier de Villatte pieces, the sales associates package everything carefully and thoroughly. If you buy any ceramic piece from Astier de Villatte, expect to walk out the store with a giant bag!

Astier de Villatte also has scented candles and ceramic candle lids, as well. The store had the entire Astier de Villatte fragrances for you to experience.

Astier de Villatte

Every incense stick needs a burner, and Astier de Villatte has the most artistic and unique ones.

The Main Incense Holder is so clever!

The incense stick is inserted into the fingers so that it looks like a hand is holding a stick.

This Lion Incense Burner has a functional design as the wide surface area where the lion sits on acts as a catchall tray for ashes. Smaller incense burner can get messy as the ashes scatter.

And the Chat Incense Burner was hands down my favorite!

The cat is a lid to the base incense holder, and smoke comes out of the cat's mouth. Brilliant.

It is a sizable piece, so it will work as a decorative object as well.

This beautiful Tibetan Tiger Rug was impactful and dramatic. I spotted these area rugs in a corner of either the second or third floor. It would look great with an arm chair or a lounge chair.

The rug is constructed of 80% wool and 20% cotton and is made in India. It doesn't have an anti-skid backing, so make sure to use a rug pad or place it underneath the furniture.

Astier de Villatte is a gem with full of treasures and artistic finds.
