The pillow comes with an insert with synthetic fill.
Finding a well-fitting insert can be challenging if the size is not widely accepted, like this lumbar pillow. So kudos to Barefoot Dreams for providing a removable insert.
The pillow cover has a zip closure and is made from 100% polyester microfiber, giving the cover an amazing softness and plushness. I simply cannot go back to cotton throw pillows in winter.
The tassel accents are fun and whimsical.
I was worried that the threads would fall off easily, but I didn’t need to worry because they still look brand new even after a few washes.
The lumbar pillow measures 14” x 20”.
Barefoot Dreams introduces different patterns and colors for the accent pillows, including the lumbar pillows, but I believe the measurements remain the same.
The CozyChic pillow covers are machine washable and tumble dry-safe.
I still line-dry the covers to avoid shrinkage, just in case.
