Newborns need so many things, and one of the few things I didn't think I was going to need was a nursing pillow. I spent my entire pregnancy without a pregnancy pillow, so I was confident that I'd be okay with breastfeeding without a nursing pillow. I was so wrong!

The difference a firm and well-fitting nursing pillow makes is incredible. A nice nursing pillow makes everything easy for both the mother and baby. I bought the Butterr nursing pillow, and I cannot recommend this enough.

It comes in a nicely-presentable cardboard box. A nursing pillow comes with one cover by default, but I recommend purchasing another pillow cover, so you can have a backup in between washes.

Mine is in Natural - a neutral beige color. So pretty!

The cushion is made of premium natural latex, and it is quite firm to the touch. It doesn't sag or lose its shape all the while providing the support you and your baby need.

The cover is made of 100% GOTS-certified cotton, but has a faux leather butter placeholder. I'm not 100% sure whether it is real leather or not, but considering how the cover can be machine-washed in cold water, I'm inclined to think it's faux leather. Correct me if I'm wrong, though!

The pillow has a hidden closure along the inseam, and it doesn't bother my incision site.

I have an extra pillow cover in the same Natural color because I think it's the most beautiful shade of blush beige. And it also goes well in my nursery. But Butterr has other beautiful colors, so be sure to check the whole selection out.
