At the CES 2024, LG made its usual super-dramatic showcase with an oversized booth and OLED TVs stacked up to a neck-bending height. This year though, they also brought a few surprise prototypes that they had been working on - a couple of concept vehicles, Alpha-able and Bon Voyage.
LG has been experimenting with the concept car, Alpha-able, with a vision to redefine future cars as a "personalized digital cave". LG's future mobility concept has three themes: Transformable, Explorable, and Relaxable. Alpha-able will utilize LG's state-of-the-art display and home appliance technologies to provide a tailored environment resembling one's home or office so that one can rest or work on the go.
As you can see, the car's interior omitted a steering wheel and replaced it with a screen. In the future, when cars are fully autonomous, your car can turn into a mobile home or office. LG's future mobility concept focuses on the quality of time spent on the road, elevating the passengers' experience.
The back of the car includes a gaming console and a champagne bottle which symbolize the variety of activities one can participate in the future of mobility.
Up next is the Bon Voyage, a super luxurious camping trailer that will take your glamping to the next level.

Bon Voyage is a compact camping trailer designed to perfection, featuring all kinds of utilities that even the largest trailers don't include. There is an induction cooktop, a bed, an LG styler, a shoe case, a shower room, a toilet, a kitchen, and so much more! It was so unbelievable that so much furnishing could fit into this tiny trailer that I had to inspect the vehicle multiple times to figure out what came from where.
As you can see, the table with an induction cooktop pulls out of the rear side of the trailer and goes back in under the bed. The maximally efficient design is almost like a magic trick!
The Bon Voyage trailer is integrated with the smart technologies of LG, keeping the camper well-connected while providing a customized living experience out into nature.
Fingers crossed that the Bon Voyage releases into the market with affordable pricing!
