I’ve been a moisturizer nomad for years because I couldn’t settle on the one moisturizer that does wonders for my skin. I don’t have particularly bad or troubled skin, but I have super dry skin. I live in LA, so its dry climate sucks out my already dry skin. I gave Drunk Elephant’s Lala Retro™ a try, and my skin has never felt better.

Now, will you look at this cute and trendy packaging? Drunk Elephant products come in a wide array of colors. I know it’s psychological, but I feel good looking at pretty products, and when I do, they seem to perform better.

Unlike traditional moisturizers that come in plain old jars, the Lala Retro™ features a pumping mechanism that is much more hygienic to use. I press the top to dispense just the right amount of moisturizer I need, keeping the rest untouched.

There is a separate lid to keep any dust from settling on the surface where the cream gets dispensed.

The texture is rich and creamy. It is definitely one of the thicker moisturizers on the market, so I believe it’s going to be ideal for normal to dry skin. If you’re on the oily side, sample it first or use it sparingly. It might be too heavy for you.

It is my favorite moisturizer, and I’m stocking up my linen closet with this.
