A Daily Skincare Ritual: Nécessaire Skincare Products

Nécessaire has been making body care products that are as clean and gentle as face products, and I'm a huge fan of their gentle yet effective formula. I've used most of their body care products - body wash, hand cream, deodorant, body lotion, and body oil. Truth be told, some were underperforming for my dry skin (the body lotion, for instance, was too light for my eczema-prone skin); however, I cannot recommend the body wash and hand cream enough.

I re-ordered the body wash and hand cream as they were running low, and the Body Bar came with the purchase. I've never used it, so I can't comment on its effectiveness yet.

According to Nécessaire, the Body Bar is a "soft in-shower cleansing treatment for the skin. This serum-in-bar is infused with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin B3, B5, and 10 Amino Acids to hydrate, condition and soothe the skin".

This SLS and SLES-free bar soap is scented in Moss, Nécessaire's new signature scent that is inspired by the bottom of the forest. I can't wait to try it.

If you're looking for a gentle body wash that doesn't strip your skin of moisture but is effective enough to not get you clean, this body wash is for you.

This gel body wash is amazing for addressing skin dryness, and it is formulated with clean ingredients. My favorite is the fragrance-free body wash, but there are 3 scented varieties if you're interested.

Each variety has a different colored cap. The jumbo 500ml size is available in the fragrance-free and eucalyptus scent.

Here is a complete list of ingredients for the body wash (fragrance-free).

Another Nécessaire item I'm obsessed with is the hand cream.

This hand cream! Let me just say that I'm the kind of person who can't leave the house without hand cream. I can be without my phone, but I have to have my hand cream because I can't stand the feeling of dry hands after washing them. I have driven back home just to get my hand cream once. I know I sound crazy, but because of my obsession with keeping my hands moisturized, I have used so many in the market. From ultra high-end like Hermès or Dior to drugstore brands like Aveeno, I'm confident that I've tried most.

A lot of designer hand creams tend to focus on fragrance and not on keeping your hands moisturized, but Nécessaire's hand cream has a perfect consistency that goes on smoothly, and it locks in moisture. It is fragrance-free, so it might be disappointing to those who are looking for scented options, but for those who prioritize keeping their hands moisturized without getting them overly greasy, this is it.

The velvety texture feels like a treat every time I apply it, and the 65ml-sized tube is perfect for on-the-go and traveling.

The aluminum tube is initially sealed upon opening, so you'll need to puncture it using the pointy end of the cap.

Upon ordering, I saw Nécessaire has the Body Retinol, a serum that contains 0.1% pure retinol and 10% AHA for boosting skin cell turnover. I plan on trying it out.
