This is hands down THE BEST dog crate in the market that isn't custom. I first saw Fable's Dog Crate on Instagram and wanted to buy it immediately. Sadly, the larger size crates were sold out, so I had to wait months to order them. They were so worth the wait, and my dogs love them.
The crate is available in 2 sizes and 2 door finishes.
I got the medium crate with a transparent acrylic door.
The best thing about this crate is that it doubles as a stylish side table. It can be placed next to a couch as a side table, next to a bed as a bedside table, or as an entryway console table.
The crate requires a light assembly.
It wasn't difficult at all, and a novice and inexperienced DIYer like myself had no problem assembling the crate. Each piece is quite heavy and substantial, though, so you may need an extra person for added security and easier setup.
You start by attaching the non-skid rubber feet to the base of the crate.
Then insert the back and side panels using the wooden dowels that are provided through the pre-drilled holes.
Lastly, insert the top and screw it in securely. The top is the heaviest part as the crate door is also attached to it.
All set up now!
The crate features a garage-style door that opens and stays all the way up.
The crate door also can be locked in case you need to contain your furry babies from time to time.
I also bought the matching dog beds from Fable because they were offering bundle savings.
The beds are delivered separately in vacuum-sealed bags.
They are thick, and the ample cushion provides plenty of support. My Shiba Inu (like all Shibas, ha) is super picky about her bedding, and she loves this bed.
The bed's cover is machine washable and is made from water-repellent fabric.
I placed the crates side-by-side next to my bedside table (sadly I already have a table next to my bed, lol), and my dogs love sleeping next to me every night.
I keep the crates open during the day, so my dogs can come and go easily.
I close the crates only when I'm leaving or having some guests over.
