I was shopping for some gifts for two of my dear friends, and I thought these change trays from Hermés would make great gifts to some of my best friends. 

Like other Hermés porcelain pieces, these change trays come in signature orange boxes with plenty of foam padding. I intend to take these to the plane, and I was glad to learn that the boxes aren't too oversized and the trays fit inside the boxes snugly. 

First, the Pegase Change Tray. 

The Pegase Change Tray is full of details! This change tray in printed porcelain features Pegasus, a winged horse in Greek mythology, and sketches of its movements. 

I have a friend who loves horses and Leonardo Da Vinci, and it was the perfect gift for him. 

The tray has a navy velvet goatskin base to prevent the tray from scratching precious and delicate surfaces. The user can safely use the tray on any surface, including leather or marble, without having to worry about scratches. 

The deep blue contrasts with vibrant yellow, orange, and red. 

It is quintessential Hermés. 

Next up is the Les Leopards Change Tray. This is one of the most unique and special pieces I've seen from Hermés in a long time. 

The tray is decorated using chromolithography and features two magnificent leopards. 

The yellow and blue color coordination exudes somewhat of an oriental vibe, which I find immensely interesting. 

This tray also has a velvet goatskin base but in a cognac or brown color. 

The change tray fits various knick-knacks and is useful as an all-purpose drop zone in an entryway or a closet. Whether it's wallets, car keys or a pair of sunglasses, the tray functions as a designated zone for all of your essentials.
