Custom Maple Spice Rack Drawer Insert

I experimented with a bunch of spice racks over the years, ranging from a cupboard stacking organizer to an expandable spice drawer container; however, something always felt a bit off, and my spice drawer/cabinet was a hot mess. I finally decided that a built-in spice drawer insert was the way to go and began my search. Sure, custom built-ins are more expensive up front, but the cost of trying out different items piles up because you are always looking for a better solution. A local carpenter quoted me a small fortune, so I resorted to Etsy, and I found a shop called Imageworks based in Chester, VA. The price was a lot more reasonable, and the store had good reviews.

You can customize the number of rows as long as the drawer depth allows it.

You will need to provide the exact dimensions before placing an order. I submitted the measurements prior to placing an order by direct messaging the seller to really make sure the drawer insert would fit snugly.

The insert fits like a glove, and angels are singing!

Imageworks provided all the photos and instructions for measuring the drawer and how the drawer would look once finished, so the ordering process can go as smoothly as possible.

Also, each drawer row is slanted upwards, so that the spice jars don't lie flat. Many spice drawer organizers have flat bottoms, and the spice eventually seeps out, making a mess. You can tell that Imageworks has really thought this through, and my spice jars stay organized without any spills.

I added the spices and some extracts for baking.

Each row fits 10 Simply Organic spice jars comfortably with a bit of room to grab them.

My spice drawer looks immaculate and so organized!

The last time when my mother-in-law visited, she was amazed at how nice the spice drawer looked and asked me where she could order one because she wanted one as well.

This spice rack is truly beautiful!
