Jules Seltzer Associates is a hidden gem in Los Angeles and is known as an authentic purveyor of the "original" classic furniture designs. Previously located in Beverly Hills, CA, Jules Seltzer has moved its showroom to a new location at the Helms Design Center (8745 Washington Blvd, Studio D, Culver City, CA 90232). Jules Seltzer serves as a vital link among manufacturers, customers, and professionals such as architects, interior designers, and distributors.

All the wonderful furniture and home goods await behind this door!

The biggest reason I sought Jules Seltzer was because it was one of the handful of USM Haller retailers in the SoCal area. I've been meaning to order some USM Haller units, but it's been difficult to find stores that have them on display.

Fortunately, Jules Seltzer has many USM pieces in different colors and configurations, so you can get a sense of how they would work out in your space.

I was helped by a lovely lady named Katlyn, and she showed me different color swatches, let me check out the smooth drawer mechanism, and helped me design the piece based on my storage needs and dimensions. I'll have a separate post on my USM order once it arrives! It's going to take a few months, haha.

Jules Seltzer has the entire Olive Green Special Edition Collection USM pieces. The color is divine - you must see it in person!

They are available in 4 designs, and each is a quick-ship item, so you'll be able to receive it right away, instead of waiting for months. USM doesn't offer customization on the Olive Green color, though.

The showroom has a lot of custom-built USM pieces, so if you're looking for design inspiration, Jules Seltzer is the place to visit. This brightly-colored yellow desk/bookshelf combo is so cleverly designed, maximizing storage all the while being space-efficient.

The vibrant orange-colored credenza is one of the most popular configurations with two drop-down doors that lock with the twist of a coin. The open shelves on the bottom can be used to display decorative objects or storage baskets.

Jules Seltzer also showcases other furniture, home goods, interior design books and decorative objects from other renowned brands such as Vitra, Herman Miller, Knoll, Artek, and Fritz Hansen.

Artek's Aalto Tea Trolley 901 is a timeless and functional masterpiece that epitomizes the innovative design ethos of Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto. Introduced in 1936, this iconic piece showcases Aalto's signature blend of organic forms, natural materials, and functionality. Crafted from birch plywood and solid birch, the Tea Trolley 901 features a minimalist yet sculptural frame with distinctive curved edges and smooth lines.

Its versatile design includes two spacious tiers and a convenient handle, allowing for effortless mobility and serving. Whether used as a mobile bar cart, serving station, or decorative accent, the Aalto Tea Trolley 901 adds a touch of Scandinavian elegance and practicality to any interior space.

The Eames Molded Plywood Lounge Chair is a timeless classic that exemplifies the innovative spirit and design prowess of Charles and Ray Eames. Introduced in 1946, this iconic piece revolutionized furniture design with its groundbreaking use of molded plywood technology.

The chair's sculptural form and organic curves are achieved through the meticulous bending and molding of multiple layers of plywood, resulting in a seamless and fluid silhouette that cradles the body in comfort. Its sleek yet understated design transcends trends, making it a versatile addition to any space, from mid-century modern interiors to contemporary settings.

There are Herman Miller's Aeron Chairs for you to experience - hands down the best office chairs.

The pairing of the Eames Screen and the Eames Lounge Chair is always timeless and classic.

The Fritz Hansen PK25 Lounge Chair is an icon of modern design, renowned for its timeless elegance and unparalleled comfort. Designed by Danish architect and designer Poul Kjærholm in 1951, this masterpiece embodies the principles of simplicity, craftsmanship, and functionality. The PK25 Lounge Chair features a minimalist yet striking profile, with a sleek stainless steel frame supporting a supple leather or fabric seat.

It's always exhilerating to find classic decorative objects and lighting, as well.

Leaving Jules Seltzer, I departed with a newfound appreciation for the transformative power of masterful furniture designs. Immersed in a world of innovative designs, I've witnessed how timeless designs can shape and enhance our surroundings, creating atmospheres that inspire, uplift, and enchant.
