The fabric is called the Skin Taupe from the Jean-Paul Gaultier Collection.
The fabric features delicate and precisely chiseled Chinoiserie embroidery lines that evolve into dragons, roses, waves, fish, and swirls.
The taupe color is very similar to Hermès' Etoupe color, but it works with any darker-colored Birkins.
The insert is soft and malleable; however, it provides enough structure and shape when inserted inside a Birkin. A lot of Togo-leather Birkins are known for losing their shapes, and the insert will help keep their shapes.
The insert contains a "pillow" made of tissue paper. It keeps the insert in shape during transit.
I highly suggest keeping this pillow and reusing it whenever you store your bag. The pillow provides extra padding and keeps the shape of the bag.
The insert also helps you organize your belongings. It features side pockets for phones, lipsticks, credit cards, and other miscellaneous items that seem to get lost in a purse.
The diamond quilted stitching feels so luxurious!
