My dog is super picky when it comes to treats. She would not look at regular dog biscuits like Milkbone! I’ve tried many dog biscuit brands, and I don’t know what’s in it, but she approves the Old Mother Hubbard Classic Oven-Baked Dog Biscuits.

These are readily available at Petco and other offline merchants like Chewy or Amazon. I timidly bought a small 5oz bag at first, thinking that it would take her a long time to finish, but she was begging for more! Now I buy these in the 6lb box so I don’t have to run out as quickly.

The expiration date is printed clearly on the box, which is very important for me.

You can buy the Classic Original Assortment if your dog wants to try different flavors: Cheddar, Chicken, Original and Charcoal. The biscuit comes in other flavors like P-Nuttier (my dog’s favorite), Bac’N’Cheez and Liv’R’Crunch.
My picky girl prefers peanut butter, and it’s no surprise that she always picks the P-Nuttier over other flavors.

I was a little worried about the packaging because so many dog treats that come in cardboard boxes are dumped in them – which could lead to contamination or infestation. I was relieved to learn that the treats were securely packed in a plastic bag and not just a cardboard box.

Made with a taste of peanut butter, apples, carrots, and molasses, these slow-baked treats are super crunchy and delicious (I assume).
