I eat a lot of salad, so investing in a salad spinner seemed like a rational decision. I rarely buy pre-washed veggies because they are more expensive, and I consume a lot. I’ve considered several cheaper spinners on Amazon, but I ultimately bought OXO’s salad spinner. I’m so happy with the spinner, and I literally use it daily.

I bought the Little Salad & Herb Spinner, and it's the perfect size for 1-2 people.
And I mean generous servings for 1-2 people.
I prefer the smaller size because it takes less space in the fridge, and the next size larger was way too big for my needs. I don't think you're going to be needing the larger size unless you're feeding 4 people and more.

OXO’s Salad Spinner consists of a BPA-free plastic colander, bowl, and lid featuring OXO’s patented pump and brake system.

As long as you wash the parts on the top rack, they are dishwasher-safe.

I use the bowl for soaking veggies, mixed with baking soda. I first drain the veggie with the plastic colander and place it back in the bowl. I put the lid on and press the black pump button to get the basket spinning. I spin it until the veggies are sufficiently dried and press the brake button to stop the spinning. I’ve been using the spinner every day for months, and the pump/brake mechanism works as smoothly and effectively as the day I brought this spinner home.

The base of the bowl features a non-slip bottom to prevent the bowl from sliding around on a wet kitchen counter. Since I use this spinner for both rinsing veggies and draining water from them, the non-slip base is so useful.

The bowl can also be used for mixing and serving salad because it looks very modern and sleek. And the best part is that I only need to wash 1 bowl, as opposed to a mixing bowl (for rinsing veggies), a spinner, and a serving bowl. Ingenious. This is the best salad spinner in the market.
